Excess of humidity and dry atmosphere can impair the preservation of your wines.  The ideal relative humidity level is between 60 & 80% and it varies which ambient temperature.

Humidity also depends very much on the outside humidity, which varies greatly between regions, seasons and weather.

The cooling unit condenses the excess and evacuates the humidity outside.  The specific evaporation temperature maintains the humidity at the required level. A lack of humidity can be corrected by hygromaster unit.
