Is a wine cellar air conditioner noisy?

Noise levels are indicated on the product data sheets and depend on the model. Significant efforts have been made on acoustics to keep noise levels as low as possible.

How much electricity does a wine cellar air conditioner consume?

Power consumption depends on the size of the cellar and its insulation.

What is the difference between a wine cellar air conditioner and a domestic air conditioner?

A wine cellar air conditioner is specially designed to maintain optimum temperature conditions for preserving wine, unlike a domestic air conditioner, which is primarily designed to cool the ambient air.

What different types of installation are possible with our air conditioners?

The different types of installation are as follows:

  • Through-wall: Installation can be on an external or internal wall (WINEC25X, WINEC50SX).
  • Ceiling or false ceiling mounting (WINEARM15X, WINESP40CAPRO2, WINESP40CEPRO2).
  • Wall-mounted (WINESP40CAPRO2).
  • Indoor ducted: The unit is inside and the ducts lead outside the cellar or the house (WINEIN25X, WINEIN50X).
  • Outdoor ductable: The unit is outside and the ducts lead to the inside of the cellar or house (WINEOUT25X, WINESP40DUPRO2, WINESP80DUPRO2).
  • Floor-standing in the cellar (WINESP100, WINEIN50X range).
  • On a door (WINEPC15).
If I have a glazed cellar, what type of glass should I use and what are the losses?

Opt for double or triple glazing with UV protection to minimise heat loss and protect the wine from light. Heat loss depends on the quality of the glazing, but good insulation reduces energy loss.
